The cork of your favourite wine hides a story more interesting than one commonly believes. And it has a great influence on the environment, the economy and people's life quality.

Cork is an extraordinary natural material, known since a very long time and it has been used in various ways. A living material, which renews itself, even in poor climatic conditions.

The chain of cork represents an insurance for environmental quality. The production chain depends on the number and health of existing forests, it requires investments for maintaining and expanding forests.
