Specialized in production of one-piece natural cork stoppers, Suber Extra srl carries out the whole production chain, from cork barks extracting in cork woods, until  product finishing and customizing. 

Greatest care about quality is set since the initial phase of  raw material supply, exclusively coming from selected cork woods in Sardinia. Deep experience in cork extraction comes from more than a century of activity in the same field, through three generations.

Product quality is also ensured by the adoption of special craft procedures for selection and cutting, as the procedure known as "per quadretto"  cut , which allows specialized operators to select the raw material piece by piece, as well as advanced automated technologies of selection, continuous production controls,  and chemical and microbiological analyses.
